A lot of people love to sing. Also, they want to demonstrate their singing to other people. In the Internet they can find web sites for people, who love to sing. There they can upload their songs to the web server and any web site visitor can download them to listen. To record the songs, they have to use some special audio recording software which is not a part of web site. A lot of people, who love to sing, do not know where they can find audio recording software, which software suitable to record the songs, which software is better etc.
Next problem is musical accompaniment. Sometimes people can not find music for favorite song and, of course, can not record this song.
Therefore, a lot of people can not use these web sites to demonstrate own songs.
We designed special applet which can be easy integrated to web site and allows to record singing voice with musical accompaniment directly on the web site! Also, if you have audio CD with your favorite song, applet can remove voice from the song and you can use this music as accompaniment. So, the problem how to get music accompaniment, can be easy solved also directly on the web site. After song recording on the web site, it can be easy uploaded to web server and in a few seconds song will be available to listening for any web site visitor.
Applet allows to record singing voice with musical accompaniment. Music accompaniment can be used in mp3, MIDI , WAV formats. Music files can be opened by applet from local computer or from the web server. After music file opening, applet creates musical track. Then, during singing voice recording, applet playback the music track and records voice track. These 2 tracks can be played back, amplified and mixed. If user like recorded song, he can save it on the web server or client computer in the mp3 format.
Also, applet can read tracks from the audio CD and remove voice from the songs. Then, this music can be used as accompaniment.
Note! Voice can be removed from the songs in case if it is recorded in stereo mode without special audio effects applied to the singing voice. Therefore, sometimes voice removing works not so good or does not work.
To record your own song, please, do the following steps:
1. Open music file for accompaniment.
2. Playback the music file to be sure that it sounds properly. Remove the voice from the music if needed.
3. Record the song.
4. Playback the recorded song to evaluation.
5. Upload song on the web server or save it on your computer.
You can open music files for accompaniment from the local computer or web server. Music files can be used in mp3, MIDI and WAV format or audio tracks from the audio CD.You can open music files in the menu “File”->”Open File”->”Open from disk”/”Open from server”. The music file will be saved in the music track in the applet.
To playback the music accompaniment click on the Play button. In case if you want to use as accompaniment the accompaniment of your favorite song from audio CD, you can remove the voice from music, then use music as accompaniment. To remove voice, go to “Effects”->”Remove voice” menu.
Note! Voice can be successfully removed from the song in case if it is recorded in stereo mode without special audio effects applied to the singing voice. Therefore, sometimes the voice removing works not so good or does not work.
Click on the Record button. The playback of the music accompaniment and recording of your voice will be started. To stop the recording, click on the Stop button. Also, the recording will be stopped automatic if music file playback will be finished.
Please, draw your attention on the input level indicator. It has to be in the green color while you singing. If it is red – decrease the microphon sencetivity or sing softly or increase distance between microphone and you mouth. If it is blue - increase the microphone sencitivity or sing louder or hold microphone closer to your mouth. You can tune the microphone sensitivity on the applet control panel or in the Windows sound mixer/ .
To playback the singing voice with music accompaniment, choose “Both” option on the control panel and click on the Play button. To playback singing voice without music accompaniment, choose “Voice” on the control panel and click on the Play button.
In case if your voice sounds loud or softly, you can amplify it or enfeeble it on the control panel. Also you can do the same with music track.
Note! You can amplify or enfeeble full track only but not some fragments of it.
If you happy with song quality, you can save it on the web server or on your computer.
Go to “File”->”Save song”->”Save to disk”/”Upload” . Before song saving, music and voice tracks will be mixed and encoded to mp3 format. You can choose the bitrate before encoding. The 96kbps or 128kbps bitrates are recommended.
